Hey everyone,

First off, a massive apology for the radio silence lately! It’s been a little while since my last update, and I wanted to check in and let you all know exactly where things stand behind the scenes.

I am absolutely still pushing forward and am actively in talks regarding different premises. To be honest, the hunt has been a bit of a challenge—it feels like every single premise I look at gets snapped up by another café or sandwich shop before I can blink! 😅

(...Unless... maybe I should just buy a massive espresso machine and open a hobby & gaming café instead? What do we think? half-joking... unless? 🤔☕️🎲)

On top of the venue hunt, the finance side of things has definitely been a bit of a struggle lately. Navigating the funding and setup pieces is a mountain to climb, but I want to assure you all that I am not giving up.

Building a dedicated, safe, and incredibly fun space for everyone in the hobby is a massive dream of mine. This community deserves a great hub to build, paint, play, and connect, and that vision hasn't changed one bit.

QUICK TAVERN UPDATE: New Dice & Location Scouting! 🎲🏪

Hey everyone! It’s been a few days, so here is the latest behind-the-scenes news for Totnes Hobby Tavern:

1. Mystery Dice Goblin is coming! 👺🎲
We are officially looking to stock Mystery Dice Goblin! I’ve been testing their sample packs, and the quality is top-tier. Opening them gives you that exact same thrill as cracking a fresh Pokémon booster. I've already made a set my personal mains! We'll be stocking their mystery bags and their custom card sleeves.

2. We need your feedback on location! 🤔🗺️
We are currently weighing up a few property options. One strong possibility is a unit down at the Babbage Road industrial estate.

Before we make any decisions, we want to know what you think:

Would you be happy heading down to the industrial estate for gaming nights and stock?

Or do you feel a High Street presence is a must?

TAVERN LOGISTICS UPDATE: THE LANDLORD BOSS BATTLE 🛡️

The emails are flying daily. Currently, we are locked in complex negotiations with the "Final Bosses"—the commercial landlords of Totnes. But we are holding the line!

I am NOT giving up. The mission for the Totnes Hobby Tavern is still 100% active. This community hub will happen.

To secure our Forward Operating Base, I need to show the decision-makers that Totnes wants (and needs) this hub. I need tactical proof of demand to present at the next briefing.

We are still scouting out a permanent home! We are currently looking at a great location just off the Eastgate Arch. It’s central, unique, and would make an incredible "hidden" hub for gaming and 3D printing.

What’s a Tavern without refreshments? We are hyped to announce that we’ve secured distribution accounts with:

​The Potions Cauldron: Magical, fantasy-themed drinks to keep the immersion high while you’re at the tables.
