For fans of the Harpsicle family of harps, Devon Harp Centre have recently been appointed distributor for the U.K., and our first shipment of 14 harps arrived last week.
Bad News ( #1) ... those wonderful rainbow colours (R.O.Y.G.B.I.V) are currently out of stock, awaiting a makeover from a new paint supplier. Updates will follow.
Good News ( #1) … we have maple, black and white finishes in stock throughout the range - Harpsicle, Sharpsicle, Flatsicle and Fullsicle … including Special Edition. And a couple of Special Edition Fullsicles in stock with fitted pickups too !
Bad News ( #2) … We don’t really like shipping harps … even Parcelforce, who are one of the better carriers, limit their consignment value to £150 … not much use when shipping a £1500 Special Edition Fullsicle. So we’ll give you a discount to cover some of your petrol costs if you come and pick up your harp from our Devon shop - and maybe throw in a cream tea at the same time …
Good news ( #2) … We warranty all Harpsicle family harps for 2 years from our Devon workshop. No question of having to ship back to Indiana, U.S.A. - we are confident enough about the quality of the Harpsicle family to cover the warranty here in Britain.
The price list and range are on our website, and we answer emails pretty quickly most of the time. And our helpfulness to customers is becoming legendary, and will remain so for another 25 years if I can survive to 100. :o)
ps: We carry a full range of Harpsicle sharping levers for upgrades. Padded bags, lap bars and other accessories too.
