Collaboration with a blend of west coast IPA and port barrel aged spontaneous beers up to 3 years in barrel

This beer is a Brett lovers dream, resin bitter, soft acidity and insane foam and carbonation.

Refrigerate this beer before drinking it is foam and carbonation for days ; think vintage duvel or orval.

Discipline and immortality 8% - oak aged sour ale aged in vintage cognac barrels.

This is a 2 year old spontaneous beer brewed on hop harvest day 2023 using hops picked same day here on site then aged 2 years in a 40yr old cognac barrel and conditioned inside the can since early October.

A uk first for proper wild ale in can I know we have seen Geuze in a can and that was a minor influence ; it was the cans by circa 2019 some sour wild stuff in can a totally ahead of its time psychedelic experience that inspired this idea

and it’s just fun isn’t it ? Drinking lambic style from a can….

The beer also draws inspiration from 50n4e, zenne y frontera, brabantiae, the spon work of the veil and the big hitting pucker face sours from the USA ; it’s a south east England interpretation using the conditions available and a snapshot into the recipe construction and thought process over 2 years ago.

Discipline and immortality 8% - sour ale aged for 2 years in vintage cognac barrels

Spontaneously fermented and brewed on hop harvest day September 2023 using wet Surrey hops grown here.
