I’m off for a little break this weekend so the shop will be closed until next Thursday. I’ve also changed my opening hours so ongoing, I will be open on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.

Another successful Whole Cloth Quilting class ran this afternoon. Great stitching and loving the variety of Aurifil thread colours being used! So pleased that this class has been so popular that it’s run twice in a few weeks!! A really relaxing way to spend a bit of a hot and sticky afternoon!!

We had another amazing Sew Sunday today, so many different projects on the go and some of them finished! Julia’s Sashiko quilt is a huge feat, she only started quilting last September! Judy’s checkerboard fillers for her backing were tiny, Melanie’s elephants were trumping, jelly rolls were being rolled and of course there was plenty of cake eaten too! Next one is Sunday 5th July, why not come and join the fun, book online 🌻

I can’t be at Thread this weekend, but I am open 10-4 today and tomorrow and I’m only 10 mins away from Farnham Maltings, so do pop in and say hello and pick yourself up a bargain!!

Yesterday these ladies nearly completed their first ever patchwork jackets! Just the binding and buttons to go on and then all finished 👏 I love that the colour ways are all so different and will look forward to seeing them paraded at FOQ this year! Well done all of you 🌻

I would call that a productive day!! Two more borders to add to the Poppy quilt…two samples nearly completed!!! Amazing how much ‘doing time’ there is when Henry is at day care 🤣 both of these fabric ranges can be found on my website….kits to follow!!

Following yesterday’s busy day, we kept the sewing going in the cool with our Sew Sunday session. Some amazing projects very near to completion! Julia’s Sashiko quilt which she’s hand quilting 😳, Clare’s Splendid Sampler quilt which now has a front and pieced back, Helen prepping for a big log cabin quilt, Gianna got all 4 quarters of the Round the World quilt done, I managed to create my sample quilt of the NEW Flora & Form fabric which is gorgeous 😍 and available on the website…ok and a sneak peak at a very exciting embroidery block…watch this space for more news!!!
