My wife, Anita-Clare Field, first cooked a meal for customers in La Petite Bouchee, (our tiny, 4-seater French bistro In a Citroen HY van) in Sydenham Wells Park in SE London in August 2014. Whilst there, she won a Time Out Love London Award, and was sought out by Michel Roux Jr. to appear on his series for Channel 4, Hidden Restaurants, (to be repeated September 6th 2017).
After the death of her mother we jointly made the decision to move to Devon in February this year. A room in our home in Witheridge now houses our supper club which Anita launched on 5 May this year. In just 3 months, Anita has won a gold award in The Taste of the West awards, has appeared on Radio Devon, has been featured in 2 magazines, Devon Life and Manor Magazine in July, is shortly to be featured in a third, Crumbs, and has been asked to take part in a Demonstration Day for Home Cook of the Year in September.
In addition to all those accomplishments she is in the running to be voted best restaurant in the Taste of Devon Food and Drink Awards. So please vote for her at the following link, It will only take a minute of your time and we would be so grateful. Please do tell us that you have voted, so we can thank you personally.
