We’re delighted to unveil our brand-new seating pods at the Market Café in Tiverton Pannier Market! 🎉☕️
Made possible through funding from the Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) and the Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF), these much-needed improvements have been designed to enhance the café area and make it an even more welcoming place to relax, meet friends and enjoy a coffee, cake or something delicious from the Temptation Station.
We’ve been lucky to work with some fantastic people to bring the project to life. Grainge Architects developed the initial concept, while Somerset Joinery expertly brought it to reality, constructing the beautiful seating pods, tables and poseur table.
Tom Nott, Market Manager, said:
“These new pods will make a huge difference to the café offer, creating a warm and cosy environment for customers to enjoy. They look fantastic, they’re comfortable, and being completely bespoke, they’re a perfect fit for the space. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Somerset Joinery for the amazing work they’ve carried out in bringing the vision to life.
We’ll be adding new chairs and stools for the poseur (breakfast-style) table in due course, so there’s still more to come! We hope everyone enjoys trying out the new seating area — but, more importantly, enjoying the amazing food and drink from Zdenka and her team.”
These improvements will help keep Zdenka, Stuart and their customers cosy and warm through the cooler months, while supporting the Temptation Station as it continues to go from strength to strength. ❤️
A very special thank you to our colleague Amy and the wider economic development team at Mid Devon District Council for their hard work in securing the funding and helping bring everything together. We really couldn’t have done it without you!
We hope you love the new seating as much as we do. Come along, grab a cuppa and make yourselves comfortable! ☕️🪑✨
