Chic'it Chic' It is now doing hand painted furniture and commissions on request. Chic' It was opened in February 2014 by Tina Mosley.

With the help of Amie they run the shop together. It is full to the brim with gorgeous gifts and homewares and furniture which is hand painted in the workshop behind the shop. We have a small tea room serving local hot drinks and scrummy cakes! Commisions are also very welcome if you would like your furniture professionally revamped and transformed.

Not a very Christmassy post I'm afraid but a necessary one. If you let your dog poo outside my shop then please PICK IT UP. This is becoming almost a daily occurrence and quite frankly, is disgusting. As a dog owner myself I always have poo bags on me. You will be reported to the Council as it is a criminal offence and you may be fined. If anyone could pass this message on to the chap in a lovely bright yellow hat who was walking his lovely dog yesterday morning just before 6am, that would be great. JVx **p

Hi everyone I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the lovely people who supported my shop over the 5 years I was open . I was hoping to carry on with the commissions , but unfortunately I have a very poorly shoulder and am having to give up the painting . 😢 I will have to find another way to keep myself busy😁x
I am having a yard / garden sale to clear left over stock . ie: Paints , furniture painted and unpainted
Lots of nik naks wall art etc.
The painted peacock 🦚 and the Two birds 🐦 cafe will be involved . Please come along even if it’s just for a chat.

I would like to let you all know that the cafe Two Birds has now opened. at 1 bridge Street adjoined to the lovely Painted Peacock. Please come and try the lovely Coffee, Teas and lovely homemade food they have to offer, I certainly will be looking forward to a Sandwich in a minute.
