Scrap Pack £3

Ideal for making cushions, dolls, bags etc. Each pack contains fabric roughly sized:
18” x 28” or 45cm x 70cm
18” x 24” or 45cm x 60cm
18” x 20” or 45cm x 50cm
Plus smaller pieces of fabric and/or ribbons and buttons

Materials in these packs will vary and no two will be identical. Fabric supplied will also vary, there will be some cotton or polycotton but also there could be heavier curtain fabrics, satins or velvet. Not all pieces of fabric are cut squarely. Buttons may not be paired and ribbons will be of varying lengths.

As we are now heading into the last week of the summer holidays I realise I haven't posted once! I also haven't done much sewing either. So I thought I should share my latest stock addition which is Scrap Packs. Bags of scrap fabrics ideal for small crafting projects or for applique. Each pack contains fabric sized 18"x28", 18"x24" and 18"x20" plus other offcuts of fabric and/or ribbons and buttons. They are £4 each and available now. Message me if you have any questions.

Tonight I decided to have a go at paper cutting. I have wanted to try it for quite some time but haven't got round to it until now. I'm really pleased with the result but my fingers really hurt!

My latest project has been removing my daughter's Brownie badges from her uniform and sewing them onto a blanket. I'm quite pleased with how it looks, it's certainly unique!

At last I can show you one of my top secret projects! I was commissioned to make some wedding bunting for an airstream saying "hitched" across the doors, and here it is strung up waiting for the happy couple to get back from the registry office :0)

My top secret orders have been taking much longer than expected to finish, and there have been delays with changing the design and running out of bondaweb, but I'm on the right track now, and I just need to find about 3 hours to finish up...so...does anyone know where I can find 3 hours? Looking at my diary it will be the middle of next week before I can sit down and finish :0(

One of my added distractions today was suddenly realising my daughter didn't have any summer skirts for school, so when I ran out of bondaweb I ran up a skirt instead :0)

Other commitments have kept me away from the sewing machine over the last few days, so I will have to make some time tomorrow! I have got two fabulous orders to make, but they are both top secret until June so I won't be able to share for a while :0( On the plus side though, I get to play with some lovely fabrics and will be creating something unique :0)

Soooo as I can't show you something new, I thought I'd show you something old! Well not that old. I made loads of these gorgeous doorstops a few months ago and these are the last ones left. Each one is £7 and weighs about 1kg.

Has everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend? We've had a barbeque in the Forest of Dean, we've been to Dudley Zoo and had family over to visit, and today has mostly been spent organising a party for my daughter's birhday. I think I might need a week to recover, lol.

On a different note I was overcome by a need to crochet on Saturday so I've started making a blanket. Not my usual thing, but who am I to argue with a creative urge!

I'll take some pics later and tomorrow I've got some orders to start working through, so I think it's going to be a busy week!
