Plenty of sport to be had still especially on "any method" fishing with most of the any method anglers taking limit bags or more.

Lots of exciting sport fishing for our carp and coarse fish too, we had great sport the other evening fishing fabs on floating lines taking some cracking carp.

Any method finishes Sunday although you will be able to book in for coarse fishing throughout the summer ( pre paid bookings only)

Some stunning fish landed last few days, with lots of 5 fish limits again today, getting these fish caught now helps massively for us when we restock come September with extra fresh fish.

Last day today of fly only fishing at Ellerdine as tomorrow we turn to "any method" for a couple of weeks.

Just £40 for 5 trout, with extra trout charged at £5 each, strictly no catch and release and all species and sizes of trout count, no ground baiting aloud hook bait only.

Bags of upto 10 fish on fly this week so plenty of fish still about

Despite the rain the last few days water temperatures are steadily now on the rise unfortunately, with this in mind we will be starting our "Any method" fishing Saturday June 13th to Sunday June 28th.
Cost will be £40 5 fish on a strict no catch and release basis, if you get your 5 fish, extra fish may be purchased at just £5 each.
All trout of any size and species count, with all coarse fish landed to be returned.
We have plenty of stock in the lakes, but it has been tricky last few days.
After June 28th you will be able to book for on for coarse fishing on the lakes, price and details to follow, theres some fantastic carp to around 20lb, plus chub, roach, rudd, tench and some fairly decent perch.

Please note Lakemoor and Cranny will be closed tomorrow for a charity day, the lodge will be closed between 11.45 and 1p...

Certainly been a warm bank holiday weekend with the fishing as expected fairly difficult but not impossible, definitely made a change from cold easterly winds that we have had over the last few weeks.
Although water temperatures are increasing they are still lower than expected this time of year, so catch and release is ok for now 👌
Areators are on and off throughout the day and although not really needed at the moment as O² levels are good too, it does just disperse any floating algae which comes off the bottom.
Water is very clear on Meadow and Lakemoor and amazing to see the many coarse fish in the lakes with the trout, and some good sizes to them too. When we go to any method these will be fantastic sport with many never been hooked.
Those that are fishing with us this next week please avoid fishing for the carp in Cranny as they are spawning at the moment 👍
