I started maternity leave this week, and thought it would be nice to start a print to keep me and my mind busy before she arrives, but it didn’t take as long as I thought it would…So I might even get a second one done! (But don’t hurry little Nugget).

This is Teignmouth down in Devon, as the ferry comes in from Shaldon, just around the corner from Ness Beach where and I got engaged 😊 so it’s quite special to us.

If anyone would like to buy one of these, please DM me. They’ll be £30 and I’m going to donate at least 10% of each print sold to (an amazing little zoo doing great things, also very special to us). I do have to put a bit of a caveat up as I’m not yet sure when these will be sent out, as it depends when I pop! 🤰🏼👶🏼 but it will be soon!

Yay I finally got my tools properly sharpened at . And look at the beautiful sparkly resin they put on there to protect them. So sparkly infact, that they needed their own square on the grid.
They came back really quickly and have arrived just in time for the start of my maternity leave. So if she could just give me a few days to do some gentle carving and printing before she comes along, that would be lovely.

Give peas a chance!
Finished my pea reduction print yay! This is my first real reduction print and was based on the first pea I picked in the garden this pea season. I probably won’t get it up on my Etsy (as it’s still closed for Christmas 😂), so message me if you’d like one, £20 inc postage to UK. It’s a limited edition of 10.
This is the first print that I’ve printed in my new little garden studio, and it’s so lovely to have more space, and not have to move everything off the dining room table or out the kitchen when I’ve finished.
Bonus to styling this pic… pea snack! 🌱

Thought I’d jump on the bandwagon so here’s my top nine for 2020. Here’s to more carving in 2021.

I’m loving making these beautiful Christmas stars. I used a template that .hanninen kindly put as a free download on their website and I made my own stamp for the decoration. Nearly Christmas!!!

Yay I managed day two of !

Today’s prompt from the wonderful was ‘float’. I just went for a _small_ three block print today... (Because who needs an evening anyway?!) Decided to do two of the blocks in grey lino because I used softcarve yesterday and then promptly remembered how much I hate carving it!

Might have to go for something a little more simple tomorrow. Watch this space!
