We are constantly being told that there's hardly any music shops left anymore. We have people visiting from all over the country and it's the same old story... their local music shop closed and there's nowhere to go and try instruments out. Well.. we are here, we pride ourselves in our customer service and also in the quality control of our instruments.
Everything that comes in is checked thoroughly and set up. If it does not meet our standards then it is sent back to the supplier (and more likely resold online to some unfortunate soul that thinks they are getting a bargain).
We receive a great deal of instruments brought in to us to be put right that have been bought online. Many of them are so poorly made or set up that they are virtually unplayable. This is particularly frustrating for a beginner who thinks that it is them that can't do it and they end up discouraged and giving up the instrument altogether.
When you need that emergency string for a guitar before a gig, we are here.
When you need your instrument serviced or repaired, we are here.
When you need a contact for a local music teacher, we are here.
When you need advice on something, we are here and always happy to help.
We provide a service to you but we also sell quality music instruments and accessories and we hope you will come and support us this Christmas π and keep it local πΆπ€
We live in a modern world of convenience and the Internet (for its good and bad) has helped facilitate this. Press a button and it's delivered to your door the next day. However there's a knock on effect to this and many towns are becoming bare due to the shopping habits of the modern world. There appears to be fewer and fewer specialist shops left and once they are gone they are gone.
Moral of the story.
Shop local and keep your town thriving π
Support your local music scene π€
Buy quality instruments that work π
Be totally awesome πΆπ΅π―π
