๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒทWe have some more stunning flowers available in the shop by Hannah from Ryther flowers.
We have a couple of bunches and some delightful posies in a jar all ready to display in your home.

All the flowers are locally grown a few miles away and have been freshly picked by a small local grower.

Organized by the environmental campaign City to Sea, it is a global day of action dedicated to eliminating single-use plastic waste and accelerating the transition to a circular reuse and refill economy.

๐ŸŒฑWe offer a unique range of environmentally friendly Ecoleaf cleaning products supplied by Suma, that are non-toxic and safe for use around the house. The Ecoleaf range is derived from plant extracts and are based on biodegradable and non-hazardous ingredients, rather than the chemicals found in many household brands.

They are stunning, seasonal, locally grown and sustainable.

๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚ Happy 9th Birthday to Us๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰For forty plus years Jean and Geoff Mason dedicated their lives to the service of the village through their shop and Post Office.. they decided to retire so a group of us took the decision that a village like ours needed to retain its shop at the heart of our community and our wonderful shop was bornโ€ฆ it was and still is a lot of hard work but we absolutely love it! Weโ€™ve won awards, been on tv and the radio, in the papers we get EVERYWHERE! ๐Ÿคฃ
Nine years and we are still run wholly by volunteers. We are very proud of this!
We deal with numerous suppliers and are very proud to state that the majority are based right here in Yorkshire - we try to deal with smaller, family run businesses as much as possible.
We always welcome new volunteers so pop in and have a natter with one of us - itโ€™s a great way to meet new people!

We are having our compulsory Electrical Safety Check Monday 15th June, so we will have no power in the shop.
We are open 7 to 9 as normal for paper collection and essentials. We have been told it will take all day, but you never know. We will keep you updated it we open later that day.
Unfortunately there will be NO POST OFFICE.
