Best vehicle
Best character
Best mech/beast
Best squad.

Winners will receive bragging rights with models displayed in the store cabinet and on Facebook. If that’s not enough you will get a certificate to prove your awesome.

Well you can’t say the chaos gods have not been generous this Valentines. We have all 4 gods covered with the new 40K Battleforce boxes. Old world, no problem we have the new marauders. Want to conquer the galaxy in the name of the Warmaster, we have the new Cataphractii terminators and breachers.

Like tanks and mechs? Like monsters? Then Konflikt’47 maybe the game for you. Based off the bolt action rule set Konflict’47 is based off an alternate reality World War 2 where the horrors of war opened up rifts allowing energy to pour into our world. Scientists were able to use this rift energy to create more powerful weapons and monsters to turn the tide of the war.

I have decided to go Axis. To really finish of the models I have used Krautcover Forges of Doom. Krautcover do some amazing basing materials I recommend you check them out either in store or at firestormgames.co.uk

Finally we have an early contender for model of the year (I know it’s only January but I’m confident) in the form of the Nightbringer. This kit looks a painters dream and can’t wait to have a go at one myself.

As the new year approaches, I have been thinking of next years projects. I shall be finishing my Iron Hands for Horus Heresy. What projects have you guys got planned for the new year? Let us know in the comments.

We have had a nice delivery of Gundam in. The pictures show a diorama one of our regulars, Paul Elston has made. I think we can all agree it’s stunning. Some how we have agreed to do a joint effort in the new year. If you fancy trying something similar why not pop in to store and pick up some Gundam, basing supplies and let your imagination run wild.

One of the things that really sets of your models is the base. To help with this we have recently started stocking Krautcover. These guys do some amazing basing materials ranging from river beds to forges of doom.

Here you can see Matt’s amazing Tyranid army using “a tale of grindark” straight out of the pot to give his army an awesome finish.
