Message: Dear Bassett Friends; I have arrived here safely. I arrived yesterday. There are many other bears here. They are very impressed with my sartorial splendour. They look as if they make their own clothes here. I have been conversing with a large fellow named Donald Chad-Valley. We only speak at night, of course. He says there is a lot of honey on the highest shelf in the kitchen cupboard. He is not tall enough to reach it by himself and I will try to help him get to it the very next chance we get. It is good to have a like-minded new friend. Thank you for sending me here. I think I will be happy. I will be staying here for quite some time I believe, so if any mail should come for me, please forward it. Tell all my old friends hello.
