Yesterday we returned Mumbles Market for some sunny seaside vibes beside beautiful Swansea Bay. Followed by our weekly appearance Riverside, right in the heart of vibrant Cardiff Cardiff Farmers Markets 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. Both buzzing and full of book lovers 💚. Time for a cold beer! 🌞✨🍻

Home after a wonderful week at Green Gathering 🌿📚

What an experience. So many thoughtful conversations, new friendships, and books finding their way to exactly the right people.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to browse, chat, or simply take a moment out of the festival. You made us feel incredibly welcome. We even had a gentleman who stopped by and sang us a song about Dylan Thomas and Caitlin! Completely unexpected, wonderfully heartfelt, and exactly the sort of thing that makes Green Gathering so special.

Really looking forward to bringing the mobile bookshop to a festival for the first time this week. Especially meaningful that our very first one celebrates community, creativity and the environment. We’ve been choosing a wonderful mix of books to bring along, and we can’t wait to meet fellow book lovers over the weekend. If you’re heading to the festival, do come and say hello ✨🌞

Today was a big day at HQ. We got confirmation that we can now trade at Cardiff Farmers Markets! We have booked on at their Riverside site opposite the Principality Stadium on Sunday February 22nd. The market is widely recognised as one of the key attractions in the Welsh capital, and follows the banks of the River Taff. Launched in 1998, the market has grown to become one of the best farmers markets in the U.K.

This means we will be regularly trading between the two biggest cities in Wales each month. Milkwood Books feeding the need to read across the country and beyond!
