Danny and Nathalie Lint from Leicestershire Luthiers (England) spending an afternoon with us yesterday in Ottawa! Little known fact that in England, 2 x English guitar techs (Danny at LL) and myself Victor (Fret Friend) were hooked up with Canadian girls. One of life’s very happy coincidences! We’ve been friends for a good 7-8 years now. We used to get together regularly back in England. Since Fret Friend (now The Guitar Medic) we moved to Canada, we see each other less frequently. Yesterday, our 1 year anniversary since moving to Canada was made extra special by seeing these guys 👍

Well if you can get this neck straighter than I have, I will hang up my tools! 😮 Man this Warwick FNA Jazzman neck has been a pig and a half but finally getting ready to put in the new truss rod and glue it up. Boy has this one been tough 💪🥵🏆

Rats! My video camera screen has died on me. I will not work without video. Upgrade incoming!!!

I am working on this seriously twisted, warped and bent neck with a snapped truss rod. Yes, of course it’s a Warwick (FNA Jazzman). Neck is cleaned up ready for the new rod. More work to do on the back of the (warped) fretboard…

I am back! I had a bit of a scare with my heart in February and had a triple heart bypass in March this year. I am now fully recovered and working out of my workshop in Metcalfe, Ottawa!

Here is the first video out of the workshop since my surgery! This is a good one guys: Ibanez Prestige in for some serious neck work and a setup! Enjoy! (y)

If you do this for a living but you want to work twice as hard for half the money: take more of these Warwick necks in!!! You have been warned! 2nd time on the jig with this one needing more heat treatment, more clamping and likely a fret level 🤷‍♂️❤️🙌🎸🤘🇨🇦🍁The Guitar Medic - Canada
