We are SO excited to be heading back to one of our favourite venues tonight - Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Hall 🎶

We are also thrilled to have our amazing D-Day Darlings Voices Choir supporting us onstage this evening - AND as if that wasn’t enough, Darling Katie also has a little pre-show pop-up performance planned in Sutton Coldfield town centre, outside the Military Chef alongside our Sutton Coldfield Voices! 🎤

As the best-selling female group to emerge from Britain's Got Talent, the Darlings received a BRIT Certified Breakthrough Award in 2019 and have since performed alongside a host of celebrities such as Michael Ball and Pixie Lott, appearing on prime time shows for Radio 2, Heart FM, ITV and BBC, with a special performance for members of The Royal Family.

This week I got a proper kick in the balls when it comes to business. It’s amazing how quickly things can get on top of you and start eating away at your mind.

Then something happens that puts everything back into perspective.

As many of you know, we have a number of homeless people around Sutton Coldfield. Like many, some are battling their own demons and struggles.

Yet three of them regularly come into the shop and put money into our veterans’ charity tin.

Think about that for a moment.

People who have very little themselves. People who are having a tough time. People who could probably find a use for every penny they have.

Yet they still choose to help others.

Sometimes it’s the people with the least who show the greatest generosity.

A reminder that kindness, compassion and looking after each other costs nothing.

So to those three individuals, thank you. You probably don’t realise it, but you’ve given me a much-needed reminder of what life is really about.
