Another collection safely received and ready to be sorted, graded, and shelved.

This one had a strong focus on fiction, along with plenty of interesting limited editions. We also came across a small piece of Folio Society history: a 1947 copy of Tales from Tolstoy, the first book published by The Folio Society.

One of the things we enjoy most about buying collections is that no two libraries are ever the same. Every collection reflects the interests, passions, and reading journey of its owner. There is always something new to discover.

At the moment, we're buying a large collection almost every week across the UK and USA, and we have no intention of slowing down. If you're considering selling a collection, we'd be delighted to hear from you.

Every book you buy from Folio Vault is packed in-house by our team, not by a third-party warehouse.

We use sturdy cardboard to protect slipcase corners and a waterproof mailer to help protect against water and dirt during transit.

The same high standards apply in both the UK and the USA.

🔎 Sometimes the best books never make it to eBay or social media…

This copy of SPQR by Mary Beard was reserved before we had a chance to list it anywhere.

One of our clients had been searching for this title for some time, so when it arrived at Folio Vault, we contacted him immediately. The book was reserved and sold before it ever reached social media.

This happens more often than you might think. We keep a list of client requests and regularly match newly acquired books with collectors before they are listed publicly.

So if you have a "white whale" – that elusive Folio Society edition you've been hunting for – let us know.

We can check whether we already have a copy in stock, whether one is currently on its way to us, or add it to our request list. We'll contact you as soon as a suitable copy arrives.
