We have been so busy our cabinet key needed a break, literally (don't worry, quickly sorted thanks to the lovely team).

We are proud Fleas, in amongst many other fantastic independent Flea'lers.

Another busy day at Durham Antiques Cooperative. Absolutely love this place.

Every dealer is bringing in stock that quite frankly blows our minds. Incredible things being sourced on long buying trips. We can only imagine how many sandwiches are needed for 3 days away.

So I had to send Mr Badger out buying, its always a bit risky tbh but he's done well. He hasn't even bought anything because "its funny, look at its little face" or excitedly declaring it to be the most green thing in the shop.

We have lots of new stock coming in and with that comes a groovy move around. Love that!

Today..we sold a beautiful small bookcase

As busy badgers, we need somewhere for brass and brilliant bits on which to perch. Luckily We have another, we are good at this...

Bookcase hastily (ish) collected, pulled up outside Durham Antiques Cooperative to hear the beautiful chorus of "how much is on that"?

Followed by the symphony of
"Yeah we'll have that mate straight in the van please"

A wise person once wrote... Selling 5 bookcases in 3 days will make Badgers happy but books on floor are sad. Amen x

Hey lovely people, Mr Badger on the mic.

Just dropping in to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the kindness, support and love Hayley has received. 🥰

We truly appreciate your patience regarding our Sunniside shop. There will, of course be updates. Appointments are always available and proving very popular. We are still proud Sunnisiders

Right now we are having a short break from the shop, catching up on our washing, re watching Happy Valley and sourcing stock for Durham Antiques Cooperative and Flea Circus after a very busy weekend. 💥🥳

We are basically Drew Pilchard but without the van, money, warehouse or the need to shake hands constantly.
(In Aldi striking a deal for broccoli and jacket potatoes by paying what they cost...yup, ill have those...handshake)🫱

The Canny Badger at Durham Antiques Cooperative

This is our space, home of the old, interesting curios and collectable. If anything catches your eye please feel free to message or if visiting simply ask any dealer for help if we aren't around.

We are so lucky to be among a collective of dealers, offering for sale items that existed before this 100 year old building was even planned.

If antiques, vintage and curios are not of particular interest maybe the 2 floors forming the Vintage Sofa Warehouse will be.

Then theres the Carthouse Cafe...fantastic food, drinks, staff and simply a lovely environment

Oh and the whole place is dog friendly.
