The shop is now closed until 30th June as I head off to Cumbrian Wool Gathering followed by some time off 😊

Any orders placed from today will be shipped after the 30th

I have set UK 2nd Class shipping at HALF PRICE while I’m closed as you’ll have to wait a bit longer than normal!

I’ve been dyeing some more pretties for the Gala Waters shawl by EildonHillsDesigns and I’ll be bringing then to Cumbrian Wool Gathering with me at the weekend (and they are also available online)

This beautiful design is simple to knit by using slip stitches to create the mosaic pattern, but really impressive to look at.

Each kit contains a printed pattern booklet (with instructions for a DK hat too!) and 2 hand dyed, 100g skeins of superwash Blue Faced Leicester & Nylon 4ply - one plain and one variegated.

I’ve made a 2nd version of the red vintage-style chocolate tins and these ones contain 15 vintage floral fabric pieces, lace, ric-rac, trims and buttons and so much potential to create mixed media pieces or beautiful stitched projects 🧵

We did an un-boxing video today for one of my new mixed media collections in the vintage-style, chocolate box tins so you can see the type of things you might find inside!!

I only have 7 available and will be bringing any I have left to this weekend

The frogs are greatly excited for their trip to this weekend!

Deborah popped in on Saturday to show me her beautiful new Shift cowl by DreaReneeKnits in Edition 3 from schoppel-wolle and it reminded me that I’ve made up lots of yarn sets in my favourite colour combos to take to Cumbrian Wool Gathering this weekend - but forgotten to share them online!!

The first two - Flower Garden and In the Mountains are now available on my website and contain 3 balls of Edition 3 in a reusable organza bag.

I’m on the hem of my Look Squirrel cardigan by Casapinka and I’m only on my 3rd ball of Organic Trio - with plenty left on the ball too! I reckon I’ll might be able to make it with 4 balls (size 5)

Quite a few of the colours are out of stock until later in the month/early July but I do have the dark turquoise, lime green, raspberry and orange in stock if you’d like to join me in knitting this lovely cardigan!

Out early with Pip and Lotta on our first outing of the day!

Right now we are at Land of Oak & Iron having coffee and a doggy ice cream from NORTHERN BL°C

I’m fitting in a tiny bit of crochet but what project do you think I’m starting with these gorgeous shades of Hjertegarn Cotton 8/8?

I love this new yarn, it’s strong and sturdy, pure cotton, worsted weight, and cheap (£3 a ball) but really lovely quality and great to work with 🧶
