Hello!
I have been a bit absent lately and wanted to let you know what's been going on.
I had a routine mammogram at the end of August and a couple of weeks later got called in for further tests. After more mammograms, ultrasound and biopsies I found out 2 weeks ago that I have pre-cancerous areas in both breasts. I was told that they would have been cancerous in 2-3 years if not discovered.
So, on Tuesday I am having surgery to remove the areas where the cells are and then I need to have radiotherapy after that. It's going to be a rough, and daunting, few weeks ahead but I'm very glad they found them!
So unfortunately I'm not going to be taking any Christmas orders this year and will be closing up for now. I plan on being back in January, before if I'm up to it, but I need to take a proper break to focus on getting myself recovered properly and fit again afterwards.
The moral of the story is go for any routine mammograms or tests as you never know when they will catch things before they become noticeable!
