Taking part in any of our summer activities will earn you points towards our Summer Armageddon Campaign!

Week 1 and 2
🎨Try Something New: Decal Workshop!

🕸️ Sat 1st-8th August - Goblin Panic!!!
Take control of a mighty Troggoth—or team up with friends and family to become a whole mob of Troggoths—and stomp your way through the store in pursuit of pesky goblins!

Week 3 and 4
🏭Try Something New: Build an Armageddon Battlefield!

🪙Saturday 15th-Sunday 23rd - Curator's Catastrophe:
Play as Trazyn or Orikan as you fight to lay claim to a pricless artifact!

Week 5 and 6
🚜 Try Something New: Battle Damage Workshop!

⚔️ Combat Patrol Celebration – Learn to Play!

You've built your force, you've painted your miniatures... now it's time to take to the battlefield!

Don't forget—we're also running bookable hobby sessions every Thursday throughout the summer, where you can build and paint your Combat Patrol with hands on hobby guidance.

⚔️ The Summer Has Begun! ⚔️

Summer Campaign: War for Armageddon! 🔥

Intense battles rage across Armageddon as Ghazghull Thraka's Waaah clashes with the imperial forces led by Commissar Yarrick. You and your family and friends can join in fighting over five different territories! Help your favourite side by completing hobby activities, earning campaign points and reporting your results in store.

To earn points and invade/defend territories, you can:
1. Take part in a Warhammer intro if you are new to the hobby (5pts)
2. Take part in Battle Honours activity in store and earn stamps (3pts)
3. Take part in a Try Something New activity in store (more on these activities tomorrow 😁 - 2 pts)
4. Take part in an Alliance activity (1pts)
5. Earn points and rewards for painting up 25, 50 or 100 miniatures during the summer (1pt for each goal achieved)
6. Earn points and rewards for bringing in a friend or family member to get them started on their Warhammer journey (1pts)
7. Join in with our combat Patrol Celebration (1pts) ⬇️

Combat Patrol Celebration 🎊

Joining in with this activity is really easy, simply pick a combat Patrol, build and paint it throughout the summer holidays and we will be having a showcase weekend in store in September to show off all your hard work!

We'll have spaces in store every Thursday for you to come down and work on your combat Patrol, get some hands-on hobby guidance and see what everyone else is working on!
Now I've got the impossible task of deciding today which combat Patrol to go for! 🤔 Help me decide!!

Perfect for getting started with 11th edition, these sets will help you to muster your forces, get started with building and painting your miniatures and providing you with what you need to learn about the world of Warhammer 40k and how to play the game!

Today we are also launching our new Battle Honours booklet! Good morning Sunderland Hobbyists! ☀️
This week's Sunday Previews have showcased a huge week for Warhammer!

⭐ First up, Kill Team hits the centre stage with the reptile-riding majesty of the Aeldari Exodites! Lead a kill team of Exodite Dragon Masters to victory against the invasion of Beast Snagga Orks by mastering their fast and durable mounts, and making up for your limited numbers with supreme martial skill!

⭐ In addition, a number of previously boxed Kill Teams will be getting their individual releases! Check out the pictures below for more information on these!

⭐The Combat Patrol Battlezone set gives you 15 pieces of terrain, plus a double-sided board and set of terrain footprints – enough to build an entire Combat Patrol sized battlefield. There’s also stand-alone sets of the Manufactorum Ruins, Capacitor Cluster, and Galvanic Network.

⭐ Horus Heresy will also be getting some preorders, with the new MKIV Tactical Squads, Assault Squads and Combi-weapons and shotguns Upgrade Set!

🚨 WAAAGH! Armageddon Painting Challenge! 🚨

Our store has been challenged by Middlesbrough, Durham, and the Metro to paint the biggest WAAAGH! possible. Every painted Ork helps our store climb the leaderboard, so it's time to get those Boyz battle-ready!

But that's not all...

🎨 Our Armageddon Painting Challenge is now underway!

To enter, paint either:
💚 An Ork miniature
🛡️ A Space Marine miniature
..and make it fit the theme of Armageddon! Whether it's a dust-covered Black Templar, a battle-worn Salamander, a brutal Goff Ork, or your own take on the legendary conflict, we want to see your best work.

🗓️ Entries close on Saturday 2nd August, so there's still time to get painting!

Bring your completed miniature into the store to enter, and while you're here, help us add even more painted Orks to our WAAAGH! total.

We've so far got quite the collection joining our tribe! Check out some of the minis that have already been painted from Liam! Absolutely fantastic! Gork and Mork approved! 🔥

Good Morning Sunderland ☀️

Firstly, appologies for not posting yesterday! I think the Mechanicus were failing to appease the machine spirit (Facebook) because it was refusing to function!

Back to normal today though and I can update you on our newest releases in store! We have the much anticipated Ciaphus Cain, alongside new Astra Militarum vehicles and Battleforce boxes! We also have the journal Tactica: Zone Mortalis, so pop down to secure yours before they disappear!

Secondly, Sundays are for Battle Honours, making them the perfect time to start your Warhammer adventure or continue your hobby journey!

If you're brand new to the hobby, come into the store to build and paint your very first miniature, then take part in a free demo battle to see Warhammer in action. If you're already working through your Battle Honours booklet, pop in and earn another stamp. You can also try our Learn to Paint: Blood Angels activity at the Try Something New station.

I'd also like to give a huge welcome to Jack, Oli, Charlie and Izzy, who all painted their very first miniatures in store. You should all be really proud of your efforts—they looked fantastic! Welcome to the Warhammer hobby, and I can't wait to see what you create next. 🎨⚔️

++ Saturday Pre-orders! ++

This Saturday we've got a load of new 11th edition starter boxes for you to check out, as well as some new and returning Black Library Books! These will be available to preorder from 10am!

Also, don't forget that we have the new Mini of the month this weekend, as well as the Old Foes coin, which can be claimed by those who previously recieved an Armageddon coin with their purchase!
