Hi all, we have a few announcements:
Our business will be closed to the public next Friday (21st) for an admin day. We are behind with important administrative tasks, and due to the volume of work, sales, footfall and communications, it is impossible to dedicate meaningful time to this whilst we are open.
We will be announcing new, simpler opening hours soon, to commence in September. These are going to be constructed specifically to provide dedicated workshop time when we are not open, for much the same reasons (we are struggling to keep pace with demand whilst workshop hours and opening hours are the same). To enable this, actual opening hours will be reduced slightly, but Doz will be "customer available" for most of these rather than being repeatedly dragged out of the workshop, whilst working hours will be increasing....

Finally, we will be closing for a whole week in September (dates tbc, and announced very soon) for some very much needed R&R. Apart from the festive break each year, we have not had holiday since opening in January 2024.

I am on my own in the unit today due to illness, so am not able to work in the workshop as I have been busy with customers.

In between customers I have been rearranging, condensing and tidying the workshop ready for the first of our new bits of equipment!

A very busy day today on sales has necessitated yet another rearrangement of the retail space at DBG.
Hopefully the last one for a little one as it takes ages!
Don't worry though, as you can see, we still have plenty of choice items left..!

That's a wrap on another relaxing Sunday "off"...!
Half a day spent lugging all the stock taken to tabletop sale at Pete's AGF from the car to the unit, rebuilding all our retail displays, displaying pellet restock, checking all the rifles and pistols have retained their correct labels and replacing the inevitable missing and lost ones, and wiping all the steel metalwork down...phew🥵🥵🥵!
It's glamorous work, this..🤣🤣
