Our gardens may be struggling this summer so why not join us to papercraft one instead? Make a mini book in a concertina style using lots of stamps, inks and decoupage papers. This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to explore a range of mixed media techniques. Full tuition will be provided but there is plenty of scope for your own creative flair. It was a blooming marvellous start to August at Amelia’s with our second sell-out Ledger Journal class taking place. The theme was botanicals and we had lots of fun using the beautiful new release from Alison Bomber as a focal point. This is a fun and relaxing way to spend a Saturday morning! This is going to be fun🍄. Katherine is hosting another lovely workshop. Paint your toadstools and then enjoy making a magical scene with as much detail as you like. Step by step instructions provided but there is plenty of opportunity for your own creativity too. Beginner friendly and perfect if you would like some crafting time with a friend or come on your own. It’s amazing what can be created with a hook and some yarn and the crochet journey at Amelia’s is still only just beginning. There is a growing collection of supplies available in the shop and on the website at a range of different price points. You can start to create for less than a fiver with a hook and some yarn. We hold weekly crochet lessons on Tuesday mornings which will restart on August 4th after a couple of weeks break. Absolute beginners are welcome to this friendly small group class with expert tuition that breaks down the mysteries of crochet stitches and pattern reading making it an accessible hobby for anyone. Email [email protected], message or call 01527 857111 if you would like to book. Tuesday 1030-1230 £25 with tools and materials available to use or bring your own. Book three lessons for £60. Fantastic pricing for crochet tuition in a lovely bright workshop space with light refreshments included.
