Today, we remember Dr Campbell Drysdale, whose vision, ambition and dedication were instrumental in establishing Prospect Hospice.

He believed that everyone should be able to experience dignity, comfort and compassion at the end of their life. And that vision has now become a legacy.

Our CEO, Jeremy Lune reflected:
“His vision was not simply to establish a service, but to ensure that people facing the end of life could do so with dignity, comfort and the support they needed. More than four decades later, that vision continues to guide everything we do.”

We are honoured to carry that vision forward, and deeply grateful for the contribution Dr Drysdale made to our hospice and to the lives of so many people in our community.

We do love the eclectic mix of styles, ages and finishes of the furniture you are kindly donating to us. It's means there literally is something for every taste , and keeps us challenged with how to display them to their best!

From antique, to mid century, modern and upcycled items, we have the lot! (And aircon if the heat is getting too much for you)!

We couldn't do what we do without our fabulous volunteers, they literally are at the core of our fundraising, whether helping in the shops, the Hospice cafe, the admin and in house teams, and definitely in our warehouse team. They are our colleagues and friends.

If you have time to spare and no idea what to do with it, why not consider joining the team!

Every day, fantastic donations arrive at our Distribution Centre in Wroughton, and we're looking for volunteers to help sort and prepare them for sale in our charity shops.

From fashion finds and toys to books and homeware, you'll never know what treasures you'll uncover while helping raise funds for local patients and families.

Apologies for the media silence while I've been on holiday! Back now, with a walk through of all the lovely stock in store today!! Sofas, dining tables, armchairs, sideboards, coffee tables, lamps, dressers, cabinets, pictures and so much more!!
