This lovely lady has been my client for years so I know her lips like the back of my hand. Tones are soooo important for lip blush and you have to find what best compliments the skin and I know exactly how she has her usual lip combo etc so the colour match was just 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

✨ Not every set of lips is straightforward… and that’s what makes lip blush so rewarding.

This client came to me with M-shaped lips, which naturally makes creating balance and symmetry much more challenging.

An M-shaped lip has a more pronounced Cupid’s bow and dips along the upper lip. If you simply follow the existing border without understanding the anatomy, the lips can heal looking uneven or the shape can become even more obvious.

For this treatment I had to carefully assess:
🤍 How much of the natural shape should be followed.
🤍 Where I could create the illusion of a smoother, fuller lip without overextending the border.
🤍 How to work around previous filler, which had left small areas of hypopigmentation.

Every single pass had to be intentional. Lip blush isn’t just about implanting colour—it’s about using colour, placement and technique to create harmony.

You’ll also notice some lighter areas during the procedure. This is completely normal and is often caused by the strong numbing cream temporarily blanching the tissue. Once the treatment is complete and the numbing wears off, this resolves.

The lips you can see above are Ombre Lips, where a lovely lip liner blends into a lighter colour towards the middle of the lips 😍

If you find you have more darker lips / pigmentation, your point of call will be lip neutralisation but this will be discussed upon consultation.
