This little parcel of loveliness is heading to my friend in Norfolk to be made into ..

-Two t-shirts (lilac with daisies and pink and blue floral fabrics)

-A Sussex Seamstress midhurst dress (the other floral fabric!)

-A cute baby dress (the elephant fabric!)

That should keep her out of mischief for a few days!

This 100% cotton fabric was bought on Saturday to make a sew different tulip dress. I can't wait to see it made up.

Whilst that was almost the end of that bolt, we do have others in that range ☺️. The colours are so sumptuous, it's no surprise it's been popular!

I had a delivery yesterday whilst one of my regular customers was in the shop. So, we decided to have a quick peep in the packages 😍.
Lots of jersey prints and some sumptuous viscose fabrics too.

The customer, (who cannot be named as she was having to smuggle this fabric into the house 🤣) then proceeded to buy some to make the Tilly and the Buttons | Learn to sew with easy sewing patterns Samara top. This viscose has a satin finish and feels so luxurious, I don't think it will hang around for long.

I'll post another pic of all of them in their full glory once they are all ready for the shelves!

Many of our classes are filled with chatter and noise, however, the smocking class yesterday was so quiet!! Everyone was concentrating so much they barely made a noise 😃
However, all that concentration paid off as they all completed some excellent smocking samples and are all going away to practice some more.

We have lots of hand sewing classes coming up, absolutely no experience needed. Just take a look at the website for details on all of the workshops.

The teal is viscose £10.50/ m, 144cm wide
The other one is rayon with a smidge of Spandex, slightly heavier weight than the viscose, £12/m , 145cm wide
