After attending at least 1 event each day of this years Mòd Ionadail Leòdhais, to watch my girls compete, I can safely say that it’s a great event for kids of our island to be involved in.
It’s such an opportunity for them all to get up on that stage and perform.
The plays on Tuesday morning were fantastic, then went to listen to Bardoch’s on Wednesday morning, presenting late morning and solo’s in afternoon.
Highlight for me was the ceilidh bands on Thursday morning, they were all fantastic, as were the choirs on Friday.
Hopefully Lois and Amber will continue with the Mod events after going to the Nicolson in August and they can then perform on the bigger stage when the National Mod hits Stornoway in 2027.
Massive thanks to all the organisers and all the teachers for getting the kids Mod ready.
