🎨 We're a third of the way there! ❤️

The Boundless Creativity fundraiser has now reached 33% of its goal, which means we've already cleared almost a third of the remaining costs from making the festival happen.

That's a huge milestone, and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, shared the fundraiser, sent messages and believed in what we're trying to create. ❤️

✨ Another lovely Craft, Chat & Chill live over in the Sakura Creative Community last night! 💕

I made loads of progress on my latest project... it went a little later than planned, but I finished it! 🎉

Fancy spending a couple of relaxed, creative hours making something beautiful?

Join us on Sunday 23rd August and create your own sparkling crystal sun catcher, choosing from gorgeous crystal prisms, moons, stars and decorative pieces to make a design that's completely your own. ✨

A lovely, relaxed workshop suitable for, with plenty of time to get creative, chat and enjoy the process without feeling rushed. 💕

You'll leave with a beautiful handmade suncatcher ready to catch the sunshine at home or in the garden! 🌈

*We've had a few questions about suncatcher safety given the recent dry weather and local wildfires! 🔥
We will be using flat, faceted, and textured crystal prisms for our workshops. These beautifully scatter light safely and act to diffuse the light, unlike solid glass spheres which act like magnifying lenses. Your handmade pieces will be 100% safe to enjoy in your home or garden 🌈✨

Well that was fun 😁

Beautiful clear evening for it too!!

Speaking of... with these gorgeous clear skies, its set to be a hot one tomorrow and Friday! 33°C!!
With that in mind, and that it gets up to 10 degrees higher in the studio thanks to it being made of wood and an abundance of windows, we will be closed the next 2 days. Summer holidays so the littluns would have to come with me which just isn't fair to them being so young ❤️

🌒 **Who's looking forward to the solar eclipse tomorrow!?** 🌞

If you're in Suffolk, we're in for a pretty spectacular view, with around 90% of the Sun covered at maximum at roughly 7pm ish 😍

Anyone else planning to get outside and watch it? What are you hoping to see? 🌙✨

Join local artist Maria Belderbos at Sakura Studio Gallery for a relaxed 4-hour watercolour workshop, designed to build your confidence and understanding of this beautiful medium.

🌈 WaterCOLOUR - Saturday 5th September
Start with the foundations of colour, exploring tone, hue, shade and colour relationships to help you understand how to get the most from your paints.

💧 WATERcolour - Saturday 3rd October
Take those foundations further with practical watercolour techniques including wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry, before putting what you've learned into practice to create your own finished piece.

Good morning ❤️

Made this cute windchime sun catcher yesterday and I love how its catching the sun and casting rainbows across the studio! 🌈
