🚲 Bike Workshop Update
Our fantastic volunteers have been busy this morning carrying out maintenance on our donated bikes and preparing several for refurbishment.
Their hard work helps us keep the wheels turning and ensures more bikes can find new homes in the community. 💪✨

🚴‍♂️🌿 Route 55 via Chatterley Whitfield – A Hidden Gem! 🌿🚶‍♀️

Looking for a new walking or cycling route? I’ve been exploring Route 55 on the National Cycle Network, and the stretch that passes through Chatterley Whitfield is definitely worth checking out!

Here’s why it’s a great local option:

✅ Route 55 runs all the way from Ironbridge to Preston, passing through towns, countryside, and historic landmarks.
✅ The Chatterley Whitfield section forms part of the Biddulph Valley Way, following a disused railway line through the scenic Dane-in-Shaw Valley. Think peaceful paths, greenery, and lots of space to breathe.
✅ With around 70% of the route traffic-free, it’s perfect for families, beginner cyclists, walkers, or anyone who enjoys a quieter, more relaxed route.

👟 Whether you fancy a gentle stroll or a longer ride, this route is a fantastic way to enjoy nature and local heritage.

🚴‍♀️ Interested in a Monthly Cycle Club?
I'm hoping to start a monthly cycle group in the near future — nothing too intense, just casual rides and good company. If that’s something you’d be interested in, please drop me a message or comment below. I'm just gauging interest for now!

Route 55 is a 113-mile route on the National Cycle Network, which, when complete, will connect Ironbridge to Preston.

Morning all.

This bike was left in grounds CAFAG at The Whitfield Valley Centre

Before I can accept it as a donation I need to appeal to its owner to come forward and claim it.

Are you missing a bike ?
Have you donated it?

I’ll keep it safe until after this weekend and if no one comes forward I’ll accept it as a donation tour our cycling project

Thanks
