This beautiful fabric is heavy weight linen that is hand blocked. It’s called ‘Rockbird’ by G.P.and J.Baker. The black background sets off the tropical birds and intricate flowers and foliage. It is incredibly expensive to buy through reputable suppliers for high end upholstery and interior design fabrics but happily I have a large piece and I am happy to supply cut lengths or a larger amount to suit your project. Get in touch if it’s for you. In the meantime I will carry on stroking it and sighing.
