The long awaited return of sock social will be happening on 26th September from 1.30 until 3.30. This one is for begginer and experienced sock knitters alike. Bring along your current sock project, have a brew and a chat all things socks! I will be here to help with problems and point you in the right direction.

This is one of the special offer yarns I have in stock. It's the Majestic from King Cole. Its a 50gm ball and at a reduced price of just £1.70 a ball. It is 50% wool, 30% acrylic and 20% polyester. This pattern, also from King Cole has the most wonderful sleeveless top as well as a jumper. The sleeveless tops ard so in vogue at the moment and super for when the summer draws to a close. The pattern cost £3.50.

Apologies for the radio silence over the last few days, we have had a day and a half of sorting and shifting! Big thanks to Clare and Fi who have been absolute stars. They are coming again next week!
So here is another of the reduced packs that I have put together. This one is an aran weight coatigan for birth to 7 years old. The yarn is Sirdar Snuggly Rainbow Drops and its an aran weight. The pack is available for £10.00. There are two of these.

Our August challenge is "Something for the Return to School". Now I know not all of us ard sending little ones to school in September but we may have grand children who are starting, older kids in secondary education or even university students! Either way a small Something to send them on their way is just a nice treat. It can be anything! I've made this bag charm - its a pencil! Yes that's what it's supposed to be! IT'S WIP WEDNESDAY!!!
This week has been a slow one for me. At home my crochet top, the one I struggled to get the stitch right is now at row six of fifteen on the middle layer. In the shop the little crochet cardigan does at least have it's second sleeve started. Joshs vest is growing slightly. And I've begun a babies cardigan that is knitted in the round, that will form a demonstration piece for a workshop in September.

This is a fabulous yarn that I have liked for absolutely ages. Sadly though its being discontinued but I did manage to secure some before before they sold out. Thankfully at a good price so I'm passing this on to you! Two shades available. There is enough yarn in this pack to make any size between 32" and 54". Either in a slhort sleeve or a ¾ length sleeve. It's a nylon and acrylic yarn. The kit costs just £20.00. I have a dark grey kit and a silver grey.
