We might possibly have got a wee bit carried away with excitement, creating our new window today🤣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️

💡This morning had an idea.

🧐A few hours later…

It was brainstorming,
Then straight to creating, printing, cutting, sticking, moving things around (and changing our minds several times)…

our Scotland 2026 window was born.

A massive thank you to Naomi who threw herself into this today.
There is absolutely no way I would’ve got all this designed, printed and displayed in one day without her. ❤️

Just made it to the car park before my car was locked in for the night though…😂🙈

Stirling is about to have a MOMENT. 🎶

in the Park lineup has just went live and —
what an incredible weekend of music this will be!
Three days of live music right here in our city, with Simple Minds, Deacon Blue, Texas, The Script, Chaka Khan, Jack Savoretti and more. 🙌

And here’s the thing —
Simple Minds headlining on the Sunday will be their ONLY UK performance this year. In Stirling. Just let that sink in.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🙌

And I’ve seen him around five times over the years, so spotting his name on that lineup today… a very happy moment indeed. ❤️

No footie with the youngest today, so homemade Scotch pancakes it is. 🥞

Gutted… forgot to bring more home from the shop… as that wee dish is NOT going to go far! 😂

It’s a weird day out there today — so staying in my PJs a little longer while trying to judge whether to hang washing out or not 🧺🤷‍♀️🌧️

Then HAVE to deal with the clean washing pile, that’s reached a height that should probably be reported to the authorities. 🧺😂

Search and rescue may be required.
Pretty sure we’ve lost a family member under there. 🤦‍♀️😂

While I’m off today doing family things, Naomi & Leah have been left with a to-do list as long as their arm… 😆

✔ Sort a Teachers’ Gift shelf
✔ Print more Father’s Day cards
✔ Tidy and restock shelves
✔ Organise displays
✔ Help customers find the perfect gifts
✔ Keep the shop looking lovely

A huge thank you to the girls for keeping everything running so I can have days off.

Running a small business is never a one-person job,
and I’m lucky to have a team who get stuck in and get things done.

If you’re popping into town today, make sure to say hello.
They’ll be busy getting Father’s Day sorted and making room for all those teacher gifts that will be needed before we know it!
