One of the things I love the most about being a floral designer is that every wedding and event is completely different; some events call for delicate arrangements and small details and others, like this, need an impactful and abundant design that completely transforms and defines the space.

A favourite colour palette of mine from last year; pale pinks mixed with lime-toned greenery, proving that foliage isn’t just a backdrop but often forms an essential part of the design.

For Hannah & Bradley we used lots of light greens in different shapes and textures from the arching molucella to the architectural hydrangeas to add body to the arrangements without needing to use traditional ‘leafy’ foliage.

Being given the privilege of working on a couple’s wedding flowers isn’t just solely providing the flowers on the day but often a year or more of closely working together to design florals that suit the venue, the mood, the season and most importantly the couple themselves.

A beautiful visit to .atherleylondon ✨

More than just a shop, C.Atherley’s store in Connaught Village is a beautiful experience celebrating the wonderful world of geraniums. You’re encouraged to smell the products and touch the beautifully tactile plants and I found it to be such a lovely excuse to slow down and enjoy the moment. The interior is also to die for and I left with a long list of geraniums I now want to get my hands on…
