Father's Day is fast approaching 🎁

We're busy preparing a batch of handmade leather card wallets ready for Father's Day.

Practical, compact and built to last, these wallets are handmade in our workshop and designed for everyday use. As the leather ages, it develops its own unique character, making each wallet even more special over time.

These will be available on our shelf at Studio.__.fresh and would make a thoughtful gift for dads who appreciate quality craftsmanship and something a little different from the usual Father's Day presents.

This batch includes some of our newer leather colours, giving even more options for creating a collar that's both practical and personal. From classic country tones to something a little more eye-catching, it's always exciting to see different leather and thread combinations come together.

We owe everyone a little apology! 🙈

If you've noticed we've been a bit quiet on social media recently, it's because preparations for Staffordshire County Show completely took over the workshop the other week.

Between making stock, packing, loading and all the last-minute jobs that inevitably appear before a show, scheduling our usual posts was accidentally forgotten about!

The good news is we're back, the workshop is busy as ever, and we've got plenty of behind-the-scenes photos and projects to share with you over the coming weeks.

Busy in the workshop this week getting stock made up ready for the Stafford County Show tomorrow and Thursday.

We’ve been cutting, stitching and finishing a fresh selection of handmade leather goods ready for the shelves at Studio.__.fresh in Bingley Hall throughout the show. From practical everyday pieces to gifts and country essentials, everything is handmade here in the UK using quality materials built to last.

This set of driving reins came in to be shortened for a customer — helping achieve a better fit and feel when driving.

Repairs and alterations like this are often small changes, but they can make a huge difference to comfort, safety and everyday use 🐴

When it comes to fittings — buckles, clips and hardware — quality really matters.

We only use solid stainless steel or brass, not plated or mixed metals. It might seem like a small choice, but it makes a huge difference over time. No flaking, no hidden corrosion — just reliable, hard-wearing fittings that do their job properly.

Because there’s no point putting time into good leatherwork if the hardware won’t last alongside it.

After removing all the old flocking, this saddle has been fully re-flocked, along with new seat skirts and pads fitted to bring everything back as it should be.

Balanced, properly filled, and finished off to a high standard — ready to go back into work.

A lot of what makes the difference is hidden inside, but it all adds up to comfort, fit, and longevity.
