After eating the delicious laverbread butter at Gorse we knew we wanted it for our wedding. Which of course meant I needed to make a batch of mini butter dishes. They looked beautiful and I've been obsessed with them ever since.

This is from the third iteration, gas fired to 1280 in a mottle bracken glaze 🔥

Once Sophie Jo and I are set up this will definitely be part of our studio range 🤠

Im sold out of the green now but still have some speckled white ones left with free postage in time for Christmas 🎁

A Christmas elf busy making presents 🎁

Today is my last firing of the year which is a great opportunity to photograph the stock I've got left and get it all up on Etsy. I've got no excuse for procrastinating as I'm stuck here for 12 hours 🔥

Christmas 2023 🎄

We are in the middle of selling our house and without a solid moving date we've been unable to decorate this year.
It's also meant that I've been too busy packing to do much meaningful making or market booking but I'm off to the studio today to photograph the leftover stock from the weekends open studio and I'll be updating Etsy soon 🎁

This Sunday the talented people of Tudor Lane will be opening their studios for the day. It's amazing how many different makers are concentrated on one lane!

Swing by Fireworks clay studio to gander at the wares and pick up some beautiful handmade presents 🎁

I've been too busy for markets this year so this is your only opportunity to stock up on Christmas vessels !

We will also have a range of drinks, refreshments, wood fired pizzas and as it's the 1st of December plenty of Christmas cheer 🎅🏼

A very belated post about "Quiet Hours" an exhibition in the showcasing what the technicians get up to in their free time.

The range and quality of work was fantastic and I feel so fortunate to work with such a talented group of makers and artists. Unfortunately I forgot to do much photographing and the show is now closed.

Slowly but surely I've managed to produce a batch of mugs. These have all be packaged up and shipped off to a hotel but there's a couple of spares on my Etsy.

Absolutely love the variations in colour that the gas kiln produces 🔥

I had a run in with an electric bike whilst on my way back from the studio this week.

Feeling so grateful for all of the amazing doctors and nurses who helped me out in A&E, they really are gems❤️

Im awaiting surgery for a broken elbow and then the long slow journey to recovery can begin. For now all orders are on hold and I'll be taking a break, hopefully in the coming weeks I'll be well enough to photograph my finished stock for a sale, and maybe do some one handed throwing too.
