Good morning and Happy Saturday! We hope you've all had a cracking week.

We're delighted to have received a fresh range of greetings cards from two fantastic local artists/makers, Anna Elizabeth Designs and Tiny Acorn.

Whether you're celebrating a wedding, a milestone birthday, or simply want to send a heartfelt note to a loved one, we have something perfect for the occasion. Anna's collection features charming and beautiful illustrations, while Tiny Acorn bring a unique, tactile touch with their signature wooden additions.

We love stocking unique and creative cards from talented creators, they are such a lovely way to add that extra special feeling to your gifts, or just to brighten someone's day!

We’ve just had a new delivery from the talented folks at Tinker & Craft , and our shelves are looking better than ever.

We’ve restocked some customer favourites and there's some brand new designs that we think you’re going to love.

Whether you’re looking for a quirky Highland cow toilet roll holder or a majestic lion kitchen roll stand, these gorgeous items are the perfect way to add a bit of personality to your home. All hand painted in either antique gold or silver, they make for a truly unique gift.

Good morning and Happy Saturday! We hope you've had a great week.

We've had a cracking new delivery from including three top-notch beers that we know you’re going to love.

Whether you’re a fan of something crisp and classic or something a bit more adventurous, we've got you covered.

We have top ups of the vibrant "Tropic Haze" Session IPA and the wonderfully balanced "Deified" Vienna Lager. But the star of the show this week, and brand new to True North, is an absolute belter of a NEIPA, "Solaris" ☀️

They’re the perfect way to treat yourself after a long week, so why not pop along and browse the new arrivals today.

☀️ School Holiday Opening Hours ☀️

As in previous years, we will be closed on Wednesdays for the rest of the School Summer Holidays, to allow us to enjoy some extra time with the family!

We'll be back open on Wednesdays as usual from week beginning Monday, 7th September. So, our first Wednesday back is 9th September.

Thank you for your understanding! Our regular opening hours remain exactly the same, so please feel free to pop along and see us to stock up on some Summer treats!

Good morning and Happy Saturday, we hope everyone has had a splendid week!

Today is a very special day at the shop! It is our 4th Birthday!

We officially opened our doors on August 1st, 2022, choosing this date because it marks both Swiss National Day and Yorkshire Day - two places that mean a lot to our family.

It has been an incredible four years, and we feel proud of how far we have come.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has visited us, supported us, and encouraged us over the last 4 years. Your loyalty has kept us going, and we truly love being a part of the Spennymoor and wider community.

We also want to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful artists, crafters, makers, and food and drink producers who have worked with us over the years, we are very lucky to stock products from such talented creators!

As always, we never rest on our laurels, and there will be plenty of new and exciting things coming over the next year, and a little bit of restructuring too. But for now, we'll enjoy and celebrate how far we have come.

There is always something new to see here, alongside all your old favourites, so why not pop along today and celebrate with us? We look forward to welcoming you!

Good morning and Happy Saturday! We hope you’ve all had a tremendous week.

After a brief period away attending various local fairs, we're delighted to let you know that Sunflower Soapery UK are back at True North, and their range of soaps are bigger and better than ever!

Based locally in Bishop Auckland, their artisan soaps are truly top notch. We’ve got a huge array of scents and styles currently in stock, including their signature soap slices and incredible sunflower-shaped bars that smell just amazing.

If you’re looking for a little surprise for someone, we also have their special Mystery Bags available for just £8, each filled with three unique goodies!

Massage Bars and Loofah Bars are also brand new to the range, as well as some very cute small soap shapes and animals.

There's so much to see in their new upgraded range, so pop along this weekend for a look and a sniff!
