These two dressed bears are so lovely. Memory Bears dressed just as mum and dad would have been. Taking their outfits and scaling them down to bear sized clothing. I love the heart cushion well 💖

Finally able to show you the bear I made from a wedding dress that was worn in 1973. The dress belonged to Karen’s Mum and has been stored all those years. Now it’s a wedding keepsake and a memory bear in memory of her Mum.

I just had to use this audio. It’s so true, as children life was simple. Then as grown ups it all gets so complicated. Hitting my 50s (I’m 51 now ) has made me realise that the simplest of things are the things that bring me the most joy. I don’t want stressful and complicated it’s way too much hassle. Hugo’s face in this is just everything. He is one funny cat and I love him for his weirdness ☺️ British shorthair cats really are the best breed

That signature outfit you always remember your loved one wearing. That favourite jumper that always made an appearance on special outings. The shirt that was just for best or the cardigan that had seen better days but was just so comfy. I capture all of these things in my dressed bears. So your finished bear will be wearing a mini scaled down version of your loved one’s clothes. Their clothes just bear sized. So your cherished memory bear will remind you of them. Every time you give it a hug or just tell it how your days been. 🫂 🤗

✔ Own a sewing machine
✔ Be confident using it at a basic level

You will also need the following

• copy of the calico signature bear pattern from Funky friends Factory ( you will need to purchase this yourself)
• 500g stuffing
• medium weight cotton woven interfacing fusible 1mtr
• Pack of long doll needles
• Buttons 4 x 22mm and 2 x black 15mm
• black Felt for nose
• 20 sewing clips
• fishing Wire for jointing or strong thread
If using adult clothing 1-2 item is enough and if baby clothing 6-8 items
