Looking for somewhere to go next weekend, come along to Parklands Lodge care home, Park rd Southport on Saturday the 15th to support the home, plenty of stalls to look at and a raffle to join in with.

We are incredibly proud to be bringing National Armed Forces Day 2027 to Southport on 26/27 June 2027 and we have one ambitious goal…

To create the biggest Armed Forces Day celebration the UK has ever seen. 🥳🥳

But we can’t do it without you.

We want the whole town to get behind this incredible occasion by creating a week-long celebration, with fringe events taking place across Southport from 21st to 27th June 2027.

Whether you’re a community group, school, charity, sports club, entertainer, venue, or local organisation, we’d love to hear your ideas. From family fun days and live music to exhibitions, fundraising events, themed activities and more, if it brings people together, we want to help make it happen.

We’re also looking for business partners and concession providers who would like to be part of the main Armed Forces Day event over the weekend of 26/27 June.

This is an opportunity for our whole community to come together, celebrate our Armed Forces, showcase everything that makes Southport special, and create an unforgettable event for visitors from across the country.
