Kill Team Tournament - Join us on Sunday 20th September for an actioned packed day of Kill Team.

Fun and relaxed tournament, suitable for beginners that have an understanding of the rules and wish to develop their skills.

Tournament will be run using set terrain layout and approved ops 2025.

You will also need to book looking for the Kill Team Event on our normal booking site.

Timings;

0930-0945 arrive at store

0950 - briefing and pairings

1000 - first games.

1230 - Lunch

1315 - second game

1600 - final game

1840 - winners and prizes announced.

Limited to 12 spaces, book early to avoid disappointment.

£15 per space.

Once you have booked your space online, please come into store to pay a 50% non refundable deposit to have your place confirmed.

Our competitive league will start on Saturday 5th September 2026 with the first draws taking place on Friday 4th September.

To register please DM our discord with the following information:

- Name
- Army
- Email address

The league will last for 8 rounds finishing on Saturday 19th December 2026. Each round draw will happen every Friday 2 weeks after the first draw on 4th September, you will then have two weeks to play your game, Saturday nights have been set aside for the league and you are encouraged to try and get your games in on these nights but it is not mandatory to do so.

Rules of the league:

- You can only submit 1 army faction for the whole league.
- Each game will be 2000pts.
- You will have 3 hours to play your game - If the game is not finished at the 3 hour mark, the player whose turn it is on can finish their current units go. The game will end and VP tallied up as normal.
- Victory conditions, winner must have 5 VP clear of their opponent and will get 3 league points, draws will be considered as any games with out a clear 5 VP lead and each player will be awarded 1 league point. There will be 0 league points for losses.
- Army lists can be changed between matches but must be submitted to a designated email address 1 day before your game, once submitted the list cannot be changed, when you attend both you and your opponent will be given each others list provided by the shop to check they are correct. If they re not, you will concede the game and your opponent will take the win.
- There is no requirement to have painted army and no additional VP will be given for having a fully painted army.

One year ago this coming week, we got the keys to what is now Board on the Waterside.

Thousands of dice have been rolled, armies have risen and fallen, Tournaments, leagues, clubs, campaigns and competitions have filled the calendar.
There have been late nights, big ideas and plenty of moments where we've wondered what on earth we've got ourselves into 😂

But mostly, there has been you lot.
Everyone who's bought something, booked a table, joined an event, brought a friend, popped in for a coffee, recommended us, shared a post or simply walked through the door...
Thank you.

We've crammed an awful lot of nerd into 12 months and somehow, it feels like we've only just got started.

Apparently a day off means MORE TIME FOR GAMING, so we’re not only giving you FREE TABLE HIRE, we’re opening TWO HOURS EARLIER! That’s 11 hours of gaming without paying a penny for your table. Warhammer, TCGs, board games, D&D, Bolt Action... whatever your particular flavour of tabletop obsession, come and make yourself at home. A small change to how we order products:
Due to the increasing costs involved, we’ve made the decision to stop ordering Online Only items into store.

If a product has the Online Only symbol, like the example shown below, unfortunately we will no longer be able to order this in for you.

Everything available through our usual store ordering system remains unchanged, so we’ll still happily order products in wherever we can.

We know this may be disappointing for some customers, but unfortunately the additional costs involved with Online Only orders mean it’s no longer sustainable for us as a small independent business.
