Hi all,

I know there is alot of criticising and false information going around about the Banking Hub. I felt it right to deal with them head on.

1. People think it is useless for lloyds/Halifax customers. Incorrect. We can do withdraws and deposits at the counter. You can also see the representative for issues. They are however very busy currently as the Branches did not do well with transitioning their customers to the new way.

2. It's too busy. Yes some days are very busy to see the bank representatives. However deposits, withdraws and bill payments at the counter are not as busy as you think. There are two ques and depending what the purpose of your visit is you might be able to just walk in and be served.

3. Banking representative lunchtimes. As much as it would be ideal for them to know when they can take their lunches they do not know due to not know the needs of the customers and the time it will to help them. Everyday we organise a rough time for lunch and everytime it does not get to start on time. Also this is not a bankhub issue it is your banks issues. We cannot do anything to resolve this. Instead of complaining on social networks, complain to your banks not give abuse to my team!

All the complaining on social media won't get you anywhere in actually making a difference.

You want a second banking representative to reduce waiting times. Complain to your bank.

You want something doing about no one covering lunch breaks. Complain to your bank.

Not happy that we can't take your lloyds/Halifax cheque. Complain to your bank.

My team and the hub are not useless. In fact in the short time we have been open we have become one of the busiest in the country. We are proud to do what we do but the issues are not our fault.

We are moving to our permanent site within the next year and you need to make your points known to your banks not us or online if you want more resources given to it.

There is no need for us to receive the level of criticism/abuse my team get.

We have been made aware of some incorrect information listed with Google AI when searching for "Sleaford Banking Hub". Every day listed with each bank is wrong, so please ignore this information. We have reported it to Google to request it is changed asap. The correct information is:

Monday - Halifax
Tuesday - Nat West
Wednesday - Barclays
Thursday - HSBC
Friday - Lloyds

Sleaford Banking Hub can offer daily banking for Lloyds and Halifax customers that includes cash deposits, cash withdrawals and balance checks. Lloyds and Halifax haven't provided us with the facility to accept personal and business cheques. These cheques can be taken to a main branch for either of the banks, or posted to LBG Processing, PO Box 13664, Harlow, CM20 9XF.

We can now confirm that Lloyds Bank will now be at the Banking Hub in Millstream Square every Friday from 20 March onwards. No need to make an appointment to see your Lloyds Community Banker, just pop into the Banking Hub on Fridays.

You can do all your daily banking any day of the week, including cash withdrawals, cash deposits and balance enquiries. Our Banking Hub Team is always happy to help.

We are happy to announce that a Community Banker from HSBC will now be at Sleaford Banking Hub every Thursday from 26 February onwards. If you need to make cash and cheque deposits, cash withdrawals or business banking, this can be done EVERY DAY FROM 9 TO 5 at the Hub, located at 4 Millstream Square in Sleaford.
