OWNER DRIVER IS BACK AT BUCKMORE

OWNER DRIVER RACING TO RETURN

Following a busy few months of planning, we are pleased to announce that owner-driver racing will return to Buckmore Park Kart Circuit in May 2026, with Champions Kart Club at the helm.

Buckmore has teamed up with Darren Beavers and his team at The Kart Championship - a National MSUK championship series - Their Motorsport UK recognised club, Champions Kart Club will operate the owner-driver karting at Buckmore going forward.

In 2026, there will be a practice date in May, followed by a Summer Cup in July and a Winter Cup in November.
Due to other commitments for both Buckmore and Champions KC and to avoid clashes with other series, we are only running these few one off events in 2026. However, these initial dates will form an important part of the lead-in to a more permanent 2027 series.

“After many successful years delivering national-level events and championships, I’m excited to turn my focus back to grassroots club karting—where it all began for me over 20 years ago.
Buckmore Park is the perfect place to show that club-level karting is still thriving. Alongside my fantastic team of officials, we’re looking forward to delivering professional owner-driver events while keeping the strong family, grassroots spirit at the heart of the sport”
