A Difficult Announcement ❤️
After a lot of thought and some very difficult decisions, we’ve made the decision to begin winding down our business for the time being.
Like many small businesses, we’ve been facing increasingly difficult challenges in the current economic climate. Rising costs, changing customer spending habits and the general pressures of running a small business have made things increasingly difficult.
However, there is another very important reason behind our decision. As a family-run business, we have some big and very important family decisions coming up — decisions that have a huge impact on our family and, naturally, on the way we are able to run our business.
For that reason, we feel that now is the right time to take a step back, concentrate on our family and make sure we make the right decisions for our future.
But this is not goodbye forever. ❤️
We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved. To have won awards and still be nominated for several more is something we never take for granted. It’s a huge achievement for our little family-run business and is something we will always be incredibly proud of.
Most importantly, it reminds us just how far we’ve come. What started as a family business has grown into something that has been recognised and appreciated by so many people — and for that, we are truly grateful.
We genuinely don’t expect this to be the end of our business. As we wind things down, we see this as a period of change and a chance to take a breath, deal with what’s ahead and work out the best way forward.
And when we do come back, we won’t simply be coming back — we’ll be coming back bigger, better and stronger than ever. ❤️
This has not been an easy decision, and it certainly isn’t one we ever expected to have to make. We’ve poured so much time, effort, passion and love into this business, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.
To our wonderful customers — thank you. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or have only supported us recently, every purchase, recommendation, kind word and bit of encouragement has meant more than you probably realise.
We’ll keep you updated as we begin winding things down and will share more about what the future holds when we can.
For now, it’s see you later, not goodbye.
