Firstly, a big thank you from all of us for your messages of support and condolence during this difficult time for us.

Also, thank you for your continued understanding as we are having to close The Old Dairy far more than we would otherwise.

Please don't forget to give us a quick call in advance of your visit at any time. It will give us chance to ensure someone is there for you. Also, don't forget that you can make an out of hours appointment before or after work and at the weekend; simply give us a call at least a day in advance or message us on here.

With Father's Day not far ahead, we thought we'd remind you that we have a super range of unique gifts here at The Old Dairy.

We know there's nothing quite like a good old mooch so give us a call and book a slot to come and visit us. If you're less that a gallon of fuel away (round trip) you'll have saved money due to the cost of posting some of our items being disproportionate due to their size and shape.

Sadly, much of our giftware still hasn't made it across to the new web shop here - https://www.sandarac.co.uk/giftware - but you can browse a lot of it on our Music Gifts page; where we're currently highlighting things we think would make good . The Old Dairy will reopen today from c.10am. Please note that we are still operating with reduced staffing levels and will close for 1 hour over lunchtime. We know this is often the best time for you to pop in (which is why we have traditionally always stayed open over lunch), and if this is the case for you just give us a quick call with the approximate time you'll be here and we'll adjust our timing to fit in with yours.

In addition, please note that we will be completely closed on June 12th with no orders being dispatched that day and limited access to phone and e-mails. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

We will be available during the day by phone or e-mail but, unfortunately, will be unable to process any orders.

June is here, where has the time gone? And we have a few important announcements.

1) Opening Hours
- Due to circumstances beyond our control, The Old Dairy will not open before 10am other than by appointment.
- We will be closed for lunch every day. If this is your preferred time to pop in, please give us a call and we will time our lunch so that we are open for yours.
- We may need to close up with little/no notice; for which we apologise in advance. Even if you are very local to us, we recommend calling or messaging us before popping round.
- Early, late, and weekend appointments are still available but limited. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to reserve your slot.

2) Father's Day
- The best way to browse our full selection of gifts is to pop into The Old Dairy
- We are planning to do the Ridgewell Fair on June 14th and will have our full range of gifts with us.
- We are featuring a range of on our Music Gifts page.
- Because we have been prioritising our core business (instruments, strings, pickups, etc., not all gifts have made it onto the new site. If there's something you want but can't find please contact us.

3) Orders continue to be dispatched as usual but we ask that you don't leave it to the last minute to order; especially for the weekend.

Thank you for bearing with us during these challenging times for us. We apologise if you have popped in only to find us unexpectedly closed and ask that everyone gives us a call before visiting; even if it is during 'normal' opening hours.

As we said before, due to injuries, additional care responsibilities, and a close family member dying, we are short-staffed and having to close at little/no notice - for which we sincerely apologise.

However, we are still able to open up early for you should you want to pop in en route to work or stay open late should popping in on your way home suit you better. We will also open up over the weekend by appointment. Simply give us a call and we'll arrange a mutually convenient time.

Today has been Nothing to Fear Day and we're using that fact to remind you that fear is one of the main things that stops people from taking up an instrument.

We hope you all had a super Bank Holiday. The Old Dairy will be open as usual from 10 this morning We will probably continue to open at 10 for a while; rather than our usual 9am.

Please note that, for the foreseeable future, The Old Dairy will be closing for lunch rather staying open as usual.

We will keep you posted, with as much notice as possible, with regards to closures.
