Shrewsbury Flower Club was among the first of the Clubs to become established in the region. It was formed on 27th November 1958 by Muriel Tipton, our founder member. The Club went from strength to strength, at one stage with 250 members and a waiting list in operation. The Club continues to be successful taking part in local regional and national events and shows, with talented members competing
from local to international level. You don’t have to compete, or take part if you prefer not to, the aim of the Club is social and for the promotion of floral decoration. As an affiliated member of NAFAS the Club will promote education in the art of flower arranging and, we hope, provide a forum for meeting new and like minded friends. Membership is £50 per year, this covers 10 demonstrations and organisation of other ad hoc events and workshops. Visitors are always welcome. If you prefer to attend our demonstrations as a visitor, the entry is £6 per demonstration (£10 for National Demonstrators). Shrewsbury Flower Club is affiliated to the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) and a regional member of West Mercia and North Wales Area of NAFAS.
