Pearce Seeds was founded fifty years ago by Michael Pearce from his home 'Clover Leys' in Trent near Sherborne as a Seeds & Agronomy business. When Michael Pearce retired from the business in the early 1990's he was bought out of the business by Ken & Chris Tuffin and today the family owned company retains its independence & continues to provide agronomic advice, certified seed & all inputs for fo

rage & crop production, from its office & store now located on the Marston Magna road north of Sherborne. Pearce Seeds services the agricultural industry in Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, Wiltshire & Cornwall with an ever expanding service throughout the UK & Ireland. We have on going trials on farms throughout our trading area, as well as our own trials farm near Sturminster Newton. We also have a growing number of agronomists developing a reputation as the local experts in agronomy for forage, grasses & crops. Pearce Seeds supply all agronomic needs from seed to agrochemical, soil testing to fertiliser, cover crops to forage crops & everything in between for all of the South West. Meet Tom Hallett, Agronomist based in the Warminster area! 📍

Tom started with Pearce as a teenager grass mixing orders in the summer, then going onto van and lorry driving! 🚛

Tom then became an Arable Manager at a local farm before coming back to us 4 years ago!🤩

Outside of work when Tom isn’t busy renovating his house, he enjoys walking his dogs and shooting! 🏡🦮

Meet Hannah Frost, trainee/apprentice Agronomist based in and around the Wells and Glastonbury area. 📍

Hannah has been with us since August last year and is working hard on her Crop Technician course at Sparsholt College! 👩🏼‍🌾

Outside of work Hannah enjoys eventing her horse and helping out the dairy farm at home! 🐮🐎
