It was time for an investment piece. And KNITTING FOR OLIVE so far you haven’t disappointed 💙. The ice blue sumptuousness of merino and silk mohair. The folded neckband is genius and knitting 2 stranded has been a breeze. I couldn’t wait to get started on this pattern ‘It’s Not Sweatshirt’ and patience is not one of my virtues so the other 12 WIP’s will just have to wait their turn ….. again …… as I think I’m hooked and have already lined up my next design 😱

Well, I’ve been very quiet on here since closing the shop at Christmas but I’m seriously enjoying life again. Getting my health back and most importantly a smile on my face again 🤗.

Running your own business is tough and retail is a whole other story. I’m loving my new and will still make a few bits here and there for my web site as well as a few wholesale orders but for now I feel I’ve finally struck a balance and it suits me perfectly 😁.

It’s also nice to be making things for myself for a change! So here’s a little progress pic of my temperature blanket, hoping it warms up soon so I can introduce a few warmer colours! 🌈

⭐️ Really pleased with my colour palette for this year’s temperature blanket. Although with it being quite mild I haven’t been able to use any white yet!

It’s a lovely morning ritual, do a row for that days temperature whilst having my first coffee of the day and before hitting the studio and cracking on!

I’m easing myself into 2024 so will have an Etsy revamp with new products and a bit of streamlining. There’s no rush, we’re all skint anyway!
