• happy new year, people!! apparently we’re 8 days in? it’s already a pretty wild one, but we’re alive so there’s much to be grateful for.
i started making and selling in november and your response and support changed my world. i’ve entered this new year grateful and hopeful for all that’s to come!
this isn’t a political space but in response to all we’ve seen in the world in the 53 weeks of 2020, i want to make clear that L&P.co stands up for black and lgbtq+ lives and has a strong christian ethos that fuels and is the backbone of all our processes. Love Reigns. if my art and products bring a little joy into this dark world then i’ve done my job. ✨
i have lots of hopes and plans for this little business this year, including new product lines and designs, getting a website up and running, and formalising the order process. but i can’t get there without you. so please keep purchasing, knowing you’re part of building something that isn’t just blessing me but will one day bless many!
running this store isn’t the only thing i do. i’m also a postgrad student, writer and music journalist. my current circumstances mean i’m not in a position to fully devote all my time to this. i’m not sure yet if i even want to run this full time—i just have so many ideas and as a creative i get restless if i’m doing the same thing for too long! i guess this is also something i’ll grow in and figure out this year, but i’m here because i’m a firm believer in only doing what you enjoy, and making art is one of those things.
everything i make is handmade. if it’s going to be any good, it takes time, care and attention to detail, so i seriously appreciate your patience when awaiting orders. also i’m still new to this, so your grace is so needed!
