Makers Store on Park Lane at Meadowhall has closed its doors for the final time. 👋 thank you to everyone who visited our store in the time we were open.

You can still find our Showcase store on The Lanes in Meadowhall. We have a selection of the brands and businesses you would have found in Makers Store and we would really appreciate your support.
•
Our team have worked incredibly hard to create a nice retail space in Makers Store which supported smaller, independent and local businesses. Our ethos was to give businesses who wouldn’t otherwise have a space in shopping centres the opportunity to show their products on a bigger stage. We thank all the businesses who supplied us.
•
We have been supported by British Land and Meadowhall who helped us to open this store but even with their assistance it has been too hard to sustain our shop as the overheads are ever increasing and retail as a whole has struggled in recent years. We have suffered losses over the last 24 months which have now become too great for us to continue running this store.
•
We also just want to say thank you to all of our team. Everyone has worked hard to try and make this retail space a success and we are very appreciative of our team. To say they have been understanding of this situation is an understatement, as our store closes some of our team are also no longer with us, this is a real life impact of how difficult retail is and what happens when stores close. We want them to be acknowledged and we thank them for their time with us.

It has been challenging to say the least but we are focusing on the future, if you are visiting Meadowhall please do call in at the Sheffield Showcase on The Lanes, say hi to our team and have a look around. We really appreciate your support.

🎅Come down to Makers Store and let the kids meet Santa.🎅

He will be with us between 11am & 1pm on Saturday 9th and Saturday 16th of December.

The reason we’ve teamed up with Santa and his Elves is to help raise awareness and vital funds for Cash for Kids South Yorkshire & Derbyshire. Their team are doing an amazing job at making sure every child in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire get gifts this Christmas.

If you would like to donate we are a drop off point for gifts. Let the kids give Santa a present to give to a under privileged child. Thank you and have a very Merry Christmas🎅

🎅Santa is coming!🎅

Come and meet Santa and his team at Makers Store in Meadowhall.

As we aim to support Hallam FM with Mission Christmas all we ask is for either a donation or bring a gift for Santa to give to another child.

Even if you don’t fancy sitting on Santas lap but you would still like to support Hallam FM in making sure that every child in South Yorkshire receives a gift this year, we are a drop off point for any gifts that you would like to give.

Just a reminder that Santa will be popping by to Makers Store on Saturday 2nd, 9th and 16th December between 11am and 1pm. With him will be gingerbread the naughty elf too. Come along bring the kids it's FREE however we would love you to make a donation to Cash for Kids South Yorkshire & Derbyshire whilst in store for the under privileged children in the local area. We hope with our help that ALL children can receive a gift from Santa this year. If you prefer to bring a gift for a child then please bring with you and hand in to Santa he will make sure the children get the gifts....it's his job 😉
