###L Tradescantia Zebrina in 30cm pot.
The plant is approximately 65cm in width and 110cm in height.
Care instructions:
LIGHT βοΈ
Your Tradescantia Zebrina prefers bright indirect light. Insufficient light will cause the vibrant striping on the leaves to fade and slow down growth. Direct sun light will burn the leaves, so it's best to avoid.
WATER π§
Water your Tradescantia Zebrina when the top 50%-75% of soil is dry. Water until liquid flows through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot and discard any water that has accumulated in the saucer.
HUMIDITY π¦
Your bathroom or kitchen would be a great choice for your Tradescantia Zebrina because it does best in a slightly more humid environment. Feel free to mist your plant frequently. If the humidity is too low the leaves will start to brown.
If you would rather place your Tradescantia in other spaces around your home that would be ok. But make sure to mist more frequently or place a humidifier nearby. You can increase humidity in a space by grouping humidity loving plants together.
TEMPERATURE π‘οΈ
Tradescantia Zebrinas prefer average to warm temperatures of 12β25 degrees during the day and above 10 degrees at night.
FOOD π
Feed once every month during the spring and summer with a liquid fertiliser for indoor plants.
TOXICITY πΎ
Your Tradescantia Zebrina is mildly toxic to humans and pets. Ingestion may cause mouth and stomach irritation.
ADDITIONAL CARE
Pinching back the long vines encourages branching and increases the fullness of the plant. To do this, simply βpinchβ off at a joint or at the tender new growth at the end of the stem.
If your Tradescantia becomes a little leggy up-top then take a few cuttings to propagate and put back into the top :)
